Goerge's First Recording George's Second Recording
This is the first record that George and Ace cut. "I Just Can't Go On Dying Like This" was written by George. It was recorded at Dogget's studio on Studemont Street in Houston Texas. It was produced by Donald Daily. Band members were, George Strait, Mike Daily, Terry Hale, Tommy Foote and Ron Cable. A studio musician was brought in for the fiddle. I attended this recording and it was my first time in the studio. Side b is a song written by Dallas Frazier called "Honky Tonk Downstairs". The record was released on the Daily's "D" record label. It was published by Pappy Daily's Glad Music Co. This is the second record cut by George and Ace in the Hole. Side a (The Way I feel About You) was also written by George. It was recorded at a studio on Jensen Drive in Houston Texas. It was produced by Donald Daily on the "D" record label and was published by Glad Music Co. Band members are the same as on the first recording. Side b is a song by   a close friend of the bands Clay Blaker, called "Lonesome Rodeo Cowboy" a song George did  again on a MCA album. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend this recording also.

I have got a hold of 3 copies of this one. There condition is good at best. I have not played them myself. They have mainly just surface marks. These are best served, framed and on the wall. They are collector items.

This is the third record cut by George and Ace in the Hole. Side a, "I Don't  Want To Talk It Over Anymore"   was written by George. I believe this was recorded at the Jensen Studio also. I don't believe I made this session. It was produced by Donald Daily on the "D" record label and was published by Glad Music Co. Band members are the same as on the first recording. Side b is another Clay Blaker creation called "Loneliest Singer In town".
